Welcome to our holiday in the snow!! What an Awesome holiday it was too!! Jan and I went with our kids, as well as my parents too, to Falls Creek in Victoria, on the eastern side of Australia. We went from the 17th July until the 24th of July. Thanks dad and mum for coming and making it possible! We couldn't have done it alone!! My parents helped take care of the kids and it also gave Jan and I some time with Kayla and Calvin on the ski runs. Kayla and Calvin learned to ski!! They went to ski school as well. It sure is amazing how little kids learn so well. You see lots of little kids flying down the mountain! We experienced beuatiful days with blue skies and also cloudy foggy days,wind, and snowfalling too!! Even a power black out for a few hours one day, due to a branch falling over a power line! It was such a wonderful experience to live it the snow for a week. The kids were also so great traveling on the the airoplane, and waiting at the airport for a few houres as well as 5 hours in the bus to the mountains! We did stop for lunch for 25minutes and later for a 5 minute toilet break. My parents thoroughly enjoyed the holiday too, a first for them to be in snow too! Jan and I went on snow boards, while Calvin and Kayla skied. Jan and I had a lesson on the Monday, and on Wednesday Jan already tried out some black runs!! Not for me!! I'll stick with the green/blue runs thanks!!
