On Saturday morning we went to the Anaconda outdoor and camping shop in Joondalup because there was going to be some snow there in the car park. The shop also had great specials. It was a really special day for the kids even though we had to wait a while for our turn.

We had to wait in the queue for about 40 minutes before the kids could have a turn, and a guy would walk past with an esky of snow for the kids to hold some. Cold, hey Calvin?

The kids just had a ball!! It gave them a little taste of what to expect next month!! It was pretty hard to take photos of them as the actual toboggan ride is quick, so for me to get from the front of the line to the end while they slide down, trying to watch them, and sqeezing past all the people was a bit of a challenge, so the photos aren't the best - but good memories anyway!!

This esky had some snow in it for the kids to touch.

Sarah, Jessica and Calvin. Sarah went on the toboggan with Calvin and Jessica went with Sarah.

Jessica - now she is a little clown! For those who know her they'll understand when I say it could only happen to Jessica - We where nearing the front of the queue, waiting in line for our kids turn on the toboggan. Then all of a sudden we couldn't see Jess!! Jan was looking everywhere for her and found her at the end of the toboggan run! She'd already had a turn! Somehow she must of just walked right to the front of the line and and the guys in charge must have put her on!! So lucky her got to have 2 goes!!

On the long weekend we went down to visit my sister Tanya and Steve and their kids in Yallingup. We arrived Friday evening and left on the Monday. It was a very enjoyable time! Well over due! We hadn't been down their in almost 3 years!!! Of course we had seen them more often as they tend to come up Perth way from time to time for birthdays, weddings etc.
They have a very lovely place which they built about 4 years ago. It is on a 5 acre bush block! The gardens and lawn are all established now and just looks wow!!

Steve used his old boat to make a cubby house and a sand pit for his kids! What a great idea!!
